TAKING IT NORTH
Words & photos: Hammeke
Made a trip up to Portland with Johnny Layton to shoot some photos
Mumford heard about it, so these guys showed up to cruise with us. They really know how to relax
Fifteen miles in three hours
Because someone threw a smoke out the window
Due to the delay we only made it to Fresno, instead of Sacto
Blue dog checks the transitions
Called up Peacock and he had this gem waiting for us
For never skating a pool before, the street crew was doing alright
Bartie even buckets pools cowboy-stance
Yaje, psyched to skate some street
Oh nothe dog pissed on the sandwiches
Set up some new "toys"
Dreaming of weed
Besides being a ripping skater, Mumford is one of the best camp chefs
Daniel Lutheran was seriously considering not getting a tent. Here he is, stoked that he did
Camp toaster? Mumford's got it all
Blue dog no hablo espanol
Who made this?
Bartie is ready for the outback
The view we came for
Aw, Crikey, there are snakes in the bush!
Cody is trying to save money so he can make it on a filmer's wages: 10 pounds of potatoes, of which eight pounds fell in the fire
Coos Bay, Oregon is gnarly
Bartie learning the local handshakes
Dusting off the ol' shred stick
Complete with Bonite and 65mm wheels
Back to back Bartie
Daniel Lutheran skates in swimtrunks sometimes
Cody used the cornholio tech to prevent sunburn
My old roomate and his son
The Salem park is pretty busted up
Here are a couple reasons why
Toy Machine exit real world collabo
Four guys in an SUV and barely enough room for gear
Everyone loves weed
Johnny opted for a bag of GG dogs
1/19/2018These Masher edits are about more than the skating in front of the lens, they’re also about the man holding the camera and blazing through the bowls at mach speed. Hell yeah, Gregson!
1/19/2018Atlantic Drift in SF, Mark Suciu, Gabriel Summers "My War" and more in today's episode of Skateline.
1/19/2018It's obvious where Anthony "ModernCholo" Cardenas finds his influences. He takes both well-known and obscure animated characters and collides them straight into the world of skateboard photography. The result he creates is a pretty cool place to visit.
1/19/2018Used to be that when people spoke of Hollywood High they were referring to the smaller rail. Geoff helped change that. This fs slider was groundbreaking stuff.
1/19/2018Gabbers engaged in an epic battle with this rail, and you’ll have to watch this edit to appreciate the gruesome nature of the confrontation. Skateboarding can truly push you to your absolute limits, both mentally and physically. Wow...
1/19/2018After 20 years, Tum Yeto is moving its HQ to a new location, where they’ll continue to distribute Brostyle, Pig Wheels, Toy Machine, and Foundation. Cheers to 20 more years!
1/19/2018Smooth styles laced with impeccable trick selections at sweet-looking spots—you can't go wrong. Mark and Nick deliver the goods.
1/19/2018The Drifters departed the familiar waters of the Atlantic, finding themselves staring down the Pacific from the hilltops of San Francisco. Cheers to another epic chapter from the crew you know and love.
1/19/2018Capturing the good times, the shenanigans and plenty of shredding, there’s no coverage quite like Fatback coverage. The New Balance crew stacked plenty of serious footage, but watching them mess around is loads of fun. Enjoy...
1/19/2018No better way to break in the new spot than to get all the homies out and have a party with a taco truck, cold beers and a skate sesh.
