Burnout: Leftover Radical
For every trip I go on, there’s usually a big stack of stuff that we couldn’t squeeze in. Here’s some gems from the recent ‘The Simple Things’ article.
The one with the dog-tossing opener.
For instance, we couldn’t include this trip to Carl’s Jr for Rob Dyrdek collectors cups.
Mr Pibb tastes so much sweeter when you’re drinkin’ it with Dyrdek.
Collect them all.
Here’s those bleachers in Santa Barbara. TM Jake hypes up the team with a hardy ollie.
Top-side-style view of Appleyard’s 360 flip.
Jared Hager, of the fabulous Hager Twins, with a hellacious hardflip!
One of the SB’s finest unleashes a fronside pop shove it.
Catfish snagged a nollie flip, as is his custom.
Darrell got a 360 ollie, but it was sort of a Baker Maker.
Cody Hager flash and rolls over the bumps.
I only realized later that this was Dan Roberts, the kid that used to skate for Maple. He even reminded me, but I couldn’t figure out where I knew him from. Sorry, Dan. I think the beard threw me off. Switch frontside flip.
Here’s a sequence I shot of him in 2001. Time flies when you’re having fun.
