Foundation's "Whippersnapps" Premiere Photos
3/07/2023
Foundation Skateboards premiered their latest video Whippersnappers this past Friday in Costa Mesa, renting out one of the multiplex’s theaters at Triangle Square on the busiest night of the week. Skaters from around the globe showed up to see what the F Block had in store for us and, as usual, they did not disappoint. —Ben Karpinski
Last time I was at Triangle Square for a premiere was for A New Horizon and I was in high school
More on the theater later—first stop is always the closest bar. Don Luong and his wife Riley brought more than just the premiere copy of the video
Sinclair does the honors of opening the Bandini Bake Shop packy. Thank you, Nicole!
Don’t worry; he shared with all the children…
…and the team riders
Fajitas were ordered as more homies arrived. Never pass up a sizzle
The Glicks even made it to town for the premiere
More F Block from The Windy City, Ariana Spencer and Phil Williamson
Don and Ryan ready to head over to the premiere
Back at the theater…
Bronson bros Ryan Townley and Dylan Witkin
Axel Cruysberghs and one of SGV’s finest—Derrick Gerlach
The girls left the deck of the ramp to show support
The budget may be fucked but at least there’s cookies! Foundation premiere gets a Gimme S’more box as well. Good lookin’ out, Garrett!
Pipemasters Axel, Leo and Matt B catch up with John Bradford
World’s Best Dad and Dakota Servold, not their first movie date
It’s been rad seeing Matisse and Nassim out here all month
The turnout was insane. All the other theaters were still open so I feel bad for whoever was there to see Cocaine Bear
Time for Sinclair to mask up
Derm made it in!
The Luongs roll deep
Spotted Liam Pace with Jesse Lindloff and Julian Lewis in the lobby
Myles Willard and Jess too!
Georgia Martin is in town. You know her from the new mag
Big night for Austin Heilman, seen here with Grandpa
Had to get one with the ladies in his life
Star of the show Aidan Campbell came through with Lo
Don’t worry, Ryan had a date too
Sorry, Creed III, we need the theater tonight
Inside we got Jeremy Leabres securing the back corner
Justin Reynolds and his wife Holly
A rare sighting of Dakota Servold, Cody Long and Stone Hendrikx not in the van
Daiki has been learning more English. The new big one he learned is “kink rail”
Aidan was the last one in before security cut it off
Sorry, Kandal!
A theater packed to the brim with Whippersnappers
Don kept it short and sweet
Gave a couple of high fives
And then it was time to enjoy the show. And now, you can too! The video is live on this very site. Congrats to Don and the Foundation team on another fantastic video
