Title: "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."
Post by: elastic back on September 26, 2008, 12:55:12 PM
as i mentioned before, i am going on a trip to portland and san francisco in a couple weeks and, while i am familiar with portland, i have never been to san francisco. does anyone have any suggestions of "musts?" place i must see, things i must do, place i must eat (vegan friendly, please). since my girl is going with me, this is more of a trip to get to know the city than a skate trip. i might try to squeeze in some skating here and there though (have to try to hit up 3rd and army). i would appreciate any tips. thanks in advance.

Make sure you hit up the Tenderloin and Hunter's Point.

There's gotta be a few vegan joints on Haight.  I know there's a place with humus and hookas.

Damn Malinas.  You went from -40 to +7 in less than a month.  That's incredible by baseball standards.

There's a place called Java Beach, it's my favorite coffee shop...definitely visit.  Google that shit.

Philosopher's Club and Pittsburgh's for favorite bar.

When are you gonna be in Portland? You should hit me up for a cup of coffee and a skate session if your down. Found a couple sick ass ledges by my house.

Fuck I envy you! Even though the last two days in Pdx have been magnificently beautiful, I would still give anything to skate third and army, and potrero. 5 more 2 more months til I get to skate those places again.

I missed yet another flight. I am definatly over a dozen in my missed flight count. Sucks. But I got here on another flight, albeit 4+ hours later than I should have. On the bus on the way to Potrero now. Should be there in like 5 minutes. Stoked!
