every time i have seen harold, he always had his dog. the funny thing is that his dog looked eerily like him (it was a black pug, haha). harold may not have been the best skateboarder in the end, but he was the type of personality that the industry is missing these days. he was the only reason that skatemaps was worth watching too. like 3 1/2 years back he was trying to do a reality show that would involve a random group of skateboarders all living in the same apartment (a la real world). i went to the audition with my friend sho (who killed himself almost exactly a year later) because he was friends with harold and had a good chance of getting on the show. unfortunately the show never happened.

Oh man, I can't find it on youtube, but I really want to post that scene from kids where hes at the pool and he keeps slapping his penis against his legs and yelling "have ya eva seen a black man's penis!", Harold was so fucking funny.
