Another clip by my friend Maruchan that he filmed last week. Event sponsored by Nike for the next Transworld Japan mag. My friend Henan, the guy being interviewed at the end, got best trick and a free pair of shoes for the hardflip front nose. A few Naysayer spottings in there if you really look. Hoping our pictures get put in the mag...  Fun day.

This rules. I'm stoked on seeing kids that young finally skating on the same level as everyone else in the video. The one that did the backside air was so huge!

Gone international? Fuck yeah!

Thought that was yoshio.

Yeah, little over a month ago I shaved the dreads off. I miss them.

if it isn't too intrusive, why did you cut them off?

I don't mind.

A few reasons, I guess. They were getting so heavy when I surfed that it hurt my scalp. Then it was a pain in the arse to rinse them, wring them out, wrap a towel, then go home, wash them, wring them out and towel again, only to have them not dry til the next day, if at all.

Skin irritation.

I was wearing a brace for the shoulder separation that the hair kept getting caught in.

Got fed up a few weeks ago and cut my hair for the first time in 5 years.

Wish I hadn't though.

i feel you. when i cut mine i had them for 5 years but hadn't cut my hair in 10. you are lucky it only took a day for yours to dry. mine took almost a week usually...so going to the beach was always a pain, haha.

at the end of the day, it is only hair. it grows back and you can always start again, if you wish. Smiley

Quote box fail.

That read "you're gonna have to be more specific".
