Houston Skatepark Opening
Photos & words: Rhino
Grindline is the reason why there’s a sick new skatepark in Houston, Texas. The grand opening was this weekend, and 2,000 people showed up to check out the 30,000-square-foot park right in the middle of the city. Beers were flowing, Dave Duncan on the mic, Indy team were there representing—oh yeah, Lance Mountain— Hurley squad flew out, and Houston locals came and shredded. Shaggy, who worked on the park, flew out from Portland to sample the coping and tranny. It was about 100 degrees, so Lone Stars were being guzzled all day.
