Hotel Tilawa Skatepark Hot

General Info

City Tilaran
State Not In US
Country Costa Rica
Continent North America

This is a private skatepark on the property of Hotel Tilawa. Anyone can skate it but you may have to pay two dollars or so. It's in the jungle and over looks Lake Arenal. You can hear monkeys while your skating.

WHAT: Good bowls, cement coping, metal coping

GOOD: The bowl is fun, big deepend. A guy that worked on Burnside built it so it is similar to Oregon skateparks.

BAD: BMXers, no store close by

PADS: no

ADDRESS: Hotel Tilawa, Tilaran, Costa Rica

HOW TO FIND IT: You can take a bus to the central part of the town, Tilaran. There you can get a hotel for about ten dollars a night. From town it is best to get a cab to the Hotel Tilawa where you will find the skatepark on the hill above the Hotel. The cab from the central part of Tilaran cost about five dollars and is much easier then the bus. The hotel is real nice and might cost a bit more. There is also an option of camping at the skatepark, which is fine.
