Lunatic Fringe: Fritz Mead

"I hope you like PB &J"

Words & photos by Xeno

Five-in-the-morning wake up call? No problem. Clean out the nastiest spot? Sure thing. Call out of work to keep skating? Fuck yeah! He isn’t complaining about stupid shit or paying attention to anything but the task at hand: skateboarding. New or old, perfect or far from, he doesn’t care—just let him skate. He rides missed-matched trucks assembled from spare parts and whatever board he can get his hands on. Never one to miss a session, he’s always there on time, lunch packed, and willing to share. Hope you like PB&J.

Mark's Cross Continental part birthed a legend, but this one catapults him into the stratosphere. The fastest feet in the biz and an approach to skating without comparison, Suciu's Verso is an absolute gift. Enjoy the show...

Boo barges the heavyweight terrain with power and undeniable force, making it all look easy. Savage is a state of mind.

You already know he’s a madman, but check his Lunatic Fringe from the March ’19 issue of the mag. "Deedz has more energy than your mommy’s Prius! He came out of the womb with a mustache, ready to shred 24/7.” —Louie Barletta
