Burnout: A Naawssty Homecoming
Back in Atlanta for a very special trip. A trip for a shoe! The Soty Naawsty crew was there, along with P-Stone - as well as an indigenous group known only as the Maka Lassis. There was no time!
Light warm up in the backyard.
Donnie and Ozzy, doubles.
J-Brock, double axle.
Notice how they're both making the same face.
GT with the natty rake.
Then Cory hit the street course.
He's kinda more of a street guy.
Here we go....
Quite a nice little spread y'all got here.
Just 'cause you're an Antihero doesn't mean you can't garden!
Later, brunch with tha Big Dog.
'They fuckin' hung up ...'
A new plan over at The Strat.
Finally, a real fuckin' skate shop!
NOS Town and Country 'Quad' mint condition.
'Lemme get summa those weed socks and and one of them finishing trowels'
And then shit got serious on the streets.
Feelin it out.
Kicked out by security (not shown.)
Next up, this thing everyone's been eyeing for 100 years.
Security guard came. Just needed one more.
Grant worked it out.
Damn! So close!
Here's where shit got weird. First the security guard snatches the board.
Then that crazy SOB went for his gun!
Dude must've been having a bad day. We gave him his space. Then Scuba called the cops on him and, realizing how bad he was blowing it, he gave the board back. Slow-motion standoff of stupidity.
The next spot was at the gay drive-thru peep show.
Bank to pole!
Nosegrind pop-along. So sick!
Alden grudgingly approves.
When that thing gets put together ... look out!
The Edge, an especially terrible spot.
Not that Ishod didn't skate it.
Cory, always innovating!
No SOTYs were harmed in the making of this photo, thank God.
Ishod had those 360s on his mind.
For everyone to enjoy over and over again...

12/08/2019Vans threw a big contest last weekend with a bunch of skaters you don’t usually associate with the words “organized competition.” Tyler Bledsoe, Breana Geering, Taylor Kirby, Austyn Gillette, Simon Bannerot, Mason Silva and hella more throw down the gauntlet for some fun in the OC sun.

12/08/2019The two-day tornado of rock, rap and radical known as the Thrasher Death Match whipped into the Big Apple recently with brain-scrambling maneuvers sharing space with hellacious pits – plus all the ferocity that names like Omar Hassan, The Gza, Kader Sylla, Gorilla Biscuits, Roman Pabich, Roc Marciano and Pedro Delfino conjure up. A Bill Thomas photo show offered a glimpse into NY skateboarding’s golden age and the whole thing was free! Where were you???
12/08/2019After a big night it’s time to either sweat out the poison or try to soak it up. Alltimers attempted both with a donut-fueled skate jam at Fat Kid the morning after the Death Match. Burnout prefers chocolate old fashioneds!
